Bath House Lofts, Bermondsey, SE16
This Grade II Listed building extending to some 45,000 sq ft was formerly Southwark Councils offices until it was acquired by Hollybrook in late 2012.
The building was constructed in 1928 as part of Bermondsey Town Hall. It is an impressive and imposing building containing a wealth of interesting architectural detailing including a magnificent triple height entrance foyer.
Consent was obtained in late 2012 to convert the building to provide 41 loft-style apartments. The development is located in the heart of the fashionable Bermondsey area and a short walk from both Bermondsey and London Bridge Underground Stations.
The conversion works commenced in late 2012 with an expected completion date in Summer 2014. The conversion works are sensitive and complex but the resultant development will be impressive and quite unique.
